Ditto. 87 all the time with rare exceptions for a splash of 93 on top of the 87 that’s in the tank. No fuel issues of any sort, and that includes 49 North American USA states plus six Canadian provinces. 21 mpg on very recent 7300 mile coast to coast loop VA to CA.

All fuel in Canada that's available at the pumps including premium contains corn,and has for the last several years.There's a few exceptions like at boat docks,but they are few and far between,and usually you pay through the nose for their non-ethanol fuel.

If you use an internal combustion engine fairly often you won't notice this, but in lawn mowers, chainsaws, ATVs, etc., (things with carburetors) ethanol gasoline will either cause issues or not run right if left sitting for a while.

I used to use whatever the cheapest gas I could find in my 2019 Classic. Once we joined Costco, I began using their 87 top tier exclusively, unless I am traveling and can't find a Costco. Granted I am only closing in on 40K miles so I've got a long way to go. For the lawnmower I use 87 from the closest gas station to home. I do always add a fuel stabilizer to my can of gas when I fill it up at the station.

I run non ethanol premium in my 24 classic. I'm in Montana, all premium is non ethanol.

You can buy ethanol gas, but your buying 87 or 89. 91 is non ethanol

I just drove from Montana to Nashville and got to see the difference in fuel prices nationwide. Montana and North Dakota very similar, 439 a gallon. Minnesota about 40 cents a gallon higher than North Dakota, Iowa very cheap. Paid 349 for non ethanol real gas premium 93. Missouri similar to Iowa 369 for non ethanol real gas premium at a farmers coop. Illinois 5.09 for premium ethanol dropped to 89 to get 4.69 a gallon ethanol. Kentucky 439 for 89, ethanol and Tennessee 439 for 89 ethanol.

Overall mileage was around 16 mpg, running average 80 mph, on 35s and with 3.92s.

I know everyone hates ethanol and I used to be the same, but hurricane owners are going to find out that turbocharged DI motors love ethanol. My wife drives a tuned WRX and they have pretty sensitive knock sensors that can reduce power output. The solution if you are ever running poorly is to add a couple gallons of e85. IMO dont go out of your way to avoid ethanol if you drive a hurricane.

Top tier (should be a sticker on the pump) only.

Can use premium for the detergents, which help keep injectors working properly. Or use a bottle of Techron at each 5,000 mile oil change (in the gas tank obviously). Techron will be much cheaper over 5k miles than running premium gas.
