Has anyone else used Redline C+ ATF?

I just swapped in, and I notice huge improvements in shift quality when engaging drive or reverse. My truck used to "clunk" into gear, but now you can barely even tell it shifted in. Shifts also seem smoother, including hard downshifts, and smoother, but quick stop to full throttle engagement.

Comes highly recommended!!!

Will update with any long term benefits, or downsides in the future.

I dropped the pan, and changed out both filters, cleaned the magnet, and used the WIX gasket in re-assembly. I topped it off with a little over 6 qts, then disconnected the tranny cooler return line, and started my truck to pump out about 2-3 qts, turned it off, re-filled. Rinse lather, and repeat for about 16-17 qts total including the first 6-7, and you should have a reasonably thorough homegrown flush.

I did mine on the ground with no jacks, or ramps, and a little more room would have been nice, but it was not too bad. I recommend a spill scooter or something to catch all the mess.

So it's not atf+4?

It's the right Redline product for our application. It is c+atf, but what the specs it covers are-

Redline C+ ATF
Satisfies Chrysler ATF+, +2, +3 (Type 7176) and ATF+4 (Type 9602) requirements

P/N from WIX was 58843, and I got it for $32.xx including tax. Be careful that is the 4wd version, there is a different pick up filter (i.e. a toally different parts package) for the 2wd trucks. The return filer, and gasket are the same regardless, but the sumps are deeper on 4wd, so the pick up filter has a longer tube.

I bought 16 qts, which should be nearly the total capacity of the trans, depending on cooler, and sump configurations. Max for any stock configuration shouldn't be more than 18... I only got 16 since you get a 4 gallon "pack" from summit racing.
