Regen frequency

I have 22 Ram 2500 I’ve read a few threads on here about the regen but was curious about how often they should regen? Mine seems like it regens once a month at the worst time, like when I’m about to pull into my driveway after a long day at work! I do a mix of highway and in town driving along with towing. I’ve read that the air filter may be an issue if it is wrong so I plan on changing that with an OEM one not sure which one I have since I’ve not had to change it yet.

I have a 2021 3500 with the 6.7L HO, on my truck they changed out the EGR Valve which did not fix the constant regen, they than changed out the diesel particulate filter which had some clumping on it. It now seems to work ok but the day to day mix of highway and town driving requires it to regen probably about every 800 miles, it takes me about 30 miles to drive it out and back to 0. No air filter issues.

IMO if your getting 800 miles or more between regens means to me there is nothing wrong for that regen frequency with mixed city/hwy driving, in fact its much better then a few who see a regen every 150-300 miles a few who see even less between regens..
