Remote start 2009

I have a Dodge Ram 2009 Laramie edition. It has the remote start but for some reason I can't find the under hood remote start switch. I bought the truck without it. I just found out I don't have it and that's why the remote start never worked. I try to turn the truck with the remote and it tells me "remote start aborted, hood ajar". I looked for it on eBay and found the part, I just need to know where it goes? If anyone can post a photo of their truck and let me know where it is? Thank you!

It's just a plastic pin that gets pushed into the hood. If you look there's a hole that lines up with the remote start push pin. Same thing happen with my 09. I got the part from the dealer for a coupon dollars.

To be honest I don't even know where the remote start push pin is?

When you pop the hood look on the drivers side right by the windshield washer tank. You'll see a black push pin switch. That's the hood pin. If you hold it down and try the remote start it should work.
