Remote start failure when <32F

I tried the remote start the last couple of days and after cranking the engine started ,ran roughly for 4-5 seconds and promptly died. Remote would not reset and I had to manually start the vehicle which will run fine! Never had any issues before, no error messages, no MIL, etc. Have the dealer extended warranty but it is still $100 a pop to "step into their parlor"!

Any thoughts come to mind? Still a baby with only 37,000 mi on the odo.

Is it the 3.6L. My wife's 200s with same motor did the exact same thing in cold weather dealership did an update and it helped some.

CCS, get those checked at a tire store, cold crank amps. I have a new battery and tune up on the wife's car, same temps but at freezing hard to start. I think in our case may be thick oil, but that doesn't sound to me like your issue.

My cheap Dball starts my truck at -40... lol... Something has to be wrong for sure.
