Bought a Classic in '021 to avoid chip shortage issues giving me problems with emergency braking, etc.. Bought the factory repair manual, paying over $100 for mediocre, incomplete content. My long term issue? Caused by a loose ground strap, one hidden by transfer case, axle, etc. So happy when the dealership's top mechanic manually traced back and found the bolt which came from the factory too loose.
Factory manual we both were using has ZERO wiring diagrams and is stingy with pictures. Got my new Haynes manual, and for less than half the cost of the factory manual, I got wiring diagrams. Sad they stopped selling the Classic. So many issues I read Rammies have are rooted in wiring, dodgy chips (chip factory seconds?), and just issues with connection corrosion. Consider getting the haynes manual. You can share it with the dealership tech stuck with the incomplete factory repair manual.
