Replace Manual Climate Controls with Auto

Does anyone know if the manual climate controls can be replaced with the automatic version as a simple plug and play or would there need to be a dealer re-flash? I’d like to find used auto controls and swap them out.

i would find another ram with it and swap and see if it will work... like a buddy who will let you snag his control pannel to see the outcome

My buddy went to the dealer to do this and they told him if it didn't come from the factory it's just not possible. Something with the wiring he said.

Not that easy without Chrysler, first it will require flashing for that option code. Then it requires different hvac control, wire harness change, may need sensor addedbut it may be built into hvac control and pretty sure it requires changes with vents behind the dash with the blender doors.

I have auto wish I had manual. It takes so long to scroll up or down. With manual just turn a dial.
