Replacement grill ideas?

Gents,

I took a bird strike during a hunting trip in Montana a few weeks ago. Damn prairie hen busted out a good sized chunk of the honeycomb on my grill. I am looking a several different options, but would like to see what others have done.

I'm inclined to try to find a replacement honeycomb insert, but they appear to be hard to find. Another one I like, is this EAG grill: https://viciousoffroad.com/i-305907...it-for-13-18-dodge-ram-2500-3500-44-0838.html

What have you replaced your grill with???

Man a lot of honeycomb grilles on offerup .. I bought mine for $80 and I sprayed it with Raptor Bedliner

Like CheechDog said, have you tried the sale sites? I bought a honeycomb complete grill with primer shell for 80 bucks off offerup last year and put the honeycomb in my chrome surround

Yes, I have been looking locally on craigslist as well as here on the forum. I didn't know about offerup, so I have looked there tonight as well. I think I would prefer to find a grill with the honeycomb inserts, but I also haven't yet taken the time to see if my grill frame is damaged. All I am seeing online so far, is chrome grills with honeycomb and they all seem to run $200+

Ya, prices im sure have gone up but no harm in offering 100-125 , you never know what people list at and will actually take. If you get an acceptible price for you, no reason you couldnt sell the chrome surround later!!

I'm running an EAG grill. Been a little over a year & holding up fine. It came in a dark grey, painted it semi-flat black.
