Hey guys/gals,

I have a 2008 1500 QC Laramie w/nav, and hate the wood trim. Has anyone replaced this with anything else out there on the market. If so what steps did you take? (ie..write up) Also a link to where you got it would be nice. Thanks...Dan

No hydrodiping is a thing. Blackedouthemi's parents do it. I think it will put basically any pattern on plastic.

MRKgroup makes overlays for the radio bezel and door inserts. They are kinda expensive tho. They have a silver billet that's almost identical to stock color.

Hydro dipping really isn't too expensive. I would have to get a quote from my stepdad again. But any piece you can pull out of your truck can be dipped in any pattern of your choice. From wood grain to camo and carbon fiber and even money.

Check it out here!

I swapped my bezel out for the sliver one,for the door inserts I got them off of the door panels and wiped down with paint thinner then took some of the adhesive promoter hit em with that then sprayed em with the sliver.Glued them back into the door...You can not buy just the inserts you have to buy the whole door panel, the only tricky part is getting them off of the panel.I just went very very easy and pried mine off.

Yup hydrodipping
They make DIY kits that I don't think are very expensive and have some pretty awesome patterns
If your nervous about it talk to Eddie!
Or just get some color match paint or a color you like
