Retractable Tonneau Covers

Shopping for Tonneaus for my '19 1500 short bed. I want low profile matte/powder coat. Debating Electric or not. Waterproof is a critical factor for me. Anyone with experience or recommendations?

Retrac and gatortrax seem to be two popular options. I have no personal experience with either though. I would say this unless it’s a hard cap or one of those fiberglass hard covers they all seem to leak to a certain extent.

I've got the Retrax One MX on my 4th gen and love it. The cover itself is waterproof but the tailgate on the 4th gens is the weak link. I've installed a tailgate seal on my truck to help the issue with the water penetration and I've faired pretty well.

If the 5th gens have a more water resistant tailgate you'll love the Retrax.

I will take delivery of a 2020 1500 Limited with Ram Box and multifunction tailgate, on Tuesday. Not particularly interested in the tailgate but it came in the package.
I have looked at the ReTrax and the Truck Cover USA. I believe they are comparable. I’m leaning towards the TCU bc the slats are more narrow allowing for a smaller roller box.
