Diffusion rings for on top of the LED to spread the light better
I should have just gotten XB rings but saw some people say they were to bright for demon eyes so I just got generic ones

They're looking awesome! I want to see them on your truck now!:rockit:

Do you have more pics on your light setup? I want to do halos just like you did and would love input on it.

To OP, great looking! I want to do this but so nervous to F it up.

The XB rings are extremely bright, but you can tint them if you want too to make them less bright. And they look much better than standard led rings.

With the diffusion ring I'm much happier with how it looks, the ring is behind the shroud so you don't see it
I'm iffy on halo's anymore, they look awesome but there are so many trucks with them anymore
I think the lights look a lot cleaner without them too and have more of a custom look rather then an eBay projector

Some day down the road I may open them up and install them who knows haha

Haven't been able to work on these as I started a new job mid January and have only been able to work on them after I made the 4 hour ride home

I used Eastwood 2k clear coat on the shrouds and a grille I painted, awesome stuff

I started to install the harness last week and it started to snow so I pulled it all back out
I got everything in last night, leveled the cut offs, went inside to seal them back up and came out to it raining (it was also 2:30am at this point)

I didn't get to hook up the LEDs but the HIDs work for the most part
The highs/lows are opposite of the indicator and the passenger side cutoff is higher then I'd like with the adjust maxed out ( had to swap the adjuster from another headlight to this one, I believe I have to open the light up again and back one of the bowls screw out some to get the cutoff where I'd like)
Only day time picture I got as I was leaving this morning

Haven't really seen them in the day time to tell you hahaha
Truck was pulled tight to the garage door this morning when I left so I didn't really get a good look

Output is great, even with the cutoffs out adjustment when I took it for a ride at 3am
I was worried about them washing out road signs like her '13 mustang but these don't seem to do that
Girlfriend is really happy with them though, I'll let you know what I think tomorrow haha

Still an over cast day
I like them, they look like a tinted lense from a distance which I'm not crazy about but doesn't look bad. From a few feet away you can see the painted accents, should look even better in sunny days

Some daytime pictures

Did you ever figure out the high's low's issue? I'm not sure if the 04's have the canbus setup but I can tell you I ran into the same issue on my 03. I had to swap the wires on my harness (not the trucks, the aftermarket harness). The harness has 3 sets of wires (on the drivers side), I swapped the outside 2 and left the middle. Issue solved. If your running the ballasts directly off the factory plug you most likely just need to swap the wires from the ballast plug to the ballast (outside wires of course).

I did! That's what I had to do too
I had someone suggest a different combination that didn't work so I got out the test light to figure out what was what
The brown and blue are what I switched, this is how it came
