After these headlights get done, I'm going to him after. Hardest part by far is getting the headlights apart. Sweating my ass off.

Speaking of which, I just got my driver side headlight apart.

I'm tired of this bs

Oh man........those TYCs are a LOT easier to open over the OEMs. Don't get me started on the glue removal on the OEMs............I hate 07-08s.

the glue used on the TYCs is different than OEM. OEM is much harder, more along the lines of a permasealed setup. Huge difference. I can get them both open in about the same amount of time, but the glue cleanup - 10 minutes (TYC) vs 60-90 minutes PER light on an OEM.

So you are starting to appreciate what JJ charges to do a set of lights now? LOL

The second pair wasn't much better!:roflsquared:

Next set I'll do will be for a Gen 2 (Dad's truck). Small little square housing, should be far easier than the HUGE 50 sq miles of contact the Gen 4s have.

replace with bigger ones.

Those small ones just don't belong in those lights. Sorry man. I think I have sold 1 (yes, 1) set of the 06-08s with those small shrouds. Get the bigguns!

If you are interested - let me know, I guarantee I can get a better price on them vs anywhere you look.
