Hello All,
Recently picked up 14' 2500 4x4 CC. It's lifted 3.5" in front and 1" rear. After reading through a number of threads here and looking at the Thuren website, it appears that +18 to 25mm offset is ideal. My question is if I ran an +18 or 25 wheel with 35x12.5 tires, would I have much poking out? I like the aggressive stance of it, but don't like getting 30 yards out of the driveway and having mud slung all over the side of the truck. I want a little poking OK, and I do plan on getting some fender flares at some point, I just don't want so much that it wears hard on the equipment and/or flings mud all over. What about a 0" offset?
Also, other than looks, is there any advantage to a 20" rim over an 18" rim? Does the 18" give more cush because there's more air/rubber? Does the 20" handle highway speed better with less sidewall flex?
Thanks!
