I have been seeing a lot of questions about the RollX and thought I would write up a quick review on it.

2014 1500 CC:

When the parts arrived, the rails were bent due to the way they shifted in the package while shipping. Bak quickly reshipped another set out and they were packaged better than the first kit. Install was a breeze. I drank a few beers, watched a YouTube video and about 45minutes later, I was enjoying the look of the new cover. At first, the rubber sides were misshaped due to the way it is packaged, but the Texas heat had them flat the next day. Since then we have experienced over 2ft of rain in a short period of time and somehow I had 0 water in the bed through all of this. I had to make 1 small adjustment to the fit after the first week, but that was my install and not their product. I had to add shims to help keep her shut and should of followed that part of the instructions the first time. It has straps to hold it open and they work great at holding it in place. However, these buckles will tap the cab when driving, so two small rubber bands fix this quick. The cover makes no noise while driving down the road and looks great, plus its metal so you know its secure. Be warned, it gets stupid fn hot since its black. Luckily the folks at Bak figured this out and have the inside lined with felt for rolling it up without scalding your hand. This is a one time mistake I am sure!

Summary:
Pros: quite, easy install, price, durability.
Cons: walking up the side of the truck when opening. Gets HOT!!!!

5 star rating from me and I do recommend getting one. I have only had experience with this cover and the RollBak. The RollBak was great but it took up bed space which became an issue when I upgraded to the CC.

PS: I purchased from Matt at Moes Performance and always recommend his customer service.

Pictures will be posted from TapaTalk below.
