What happens if you rotate the torque converter the wrong way to get to the bolts on the flywheel? The engine is out of the truck and I had to remove the torque converter. I rotated it the wrong way. Did I mess something up?

Unfortunately I don’t know anything about the 4.7L. Typically the crank is turned in a clockwise rotation as it would operate normally. If it’s a timing belt it may jump teeth/timing. Camshaft driven chains have tensioners and the tensioners collapse with rotation in the wrong direction. Luckily you have the engine out of the truck so pull the front timing cover and see if there is any damage. It’s a PITA but better safe than sorry.

The converter pump can rotate in both directions. You didn't mess anything up.
