He's right. You need to try to go further in the purchase process, let us know how that works out.

After filling out all the necessary information to place an order you'll find there is no "submit" button or similar. You can load your "cart" but you can't go any further.

You'll see the image about their time-out if you log out and go to the Home Page by clicking on their avatar/image in the upper left corner.

I've made purchases from these folks on 3 separate occasions with great results, but not lately. Sad really, their customer service, shipping, and pricing were all first rate.
When I tried calling the phone number they show I just got a recording saying they don't really check phone messages, and that email is the best way to reach them and get a response. I haven't tried that though.

A little weird too, isn't it? It's like everyone went home and never came back, but they "left the lights on".

Isn't that an interesting sign of the times in the oil and filter industries.

Wow, yeah, agreed. When I found the banner on the main page I had no idea it had already been down for months.
My last order from those guys was 04/04/2024 and it was a very good experience. I guess there is no point in my keeping their site bookmarked any longer. The only reason I used them was to stock up on the 20-820 filters, and there is reasonable doubt as to the future of those filters.

That clearance is bad and good news, now it makes me worry if somehow puro is on the way out too. Like dam hell. At 4 bucks I'd buy all I could get and store them inside.

I dont think so i think that clearance is an AAP issue. I think AAP is on its way out

Check out fram titaniums at AAP they are on clearance at AAPs. Those are AAP specific fram ultras with a special "high flow" hole design. Potentially still wire backed like the OG ultra

This just chaps my aaz, this state is so bad fellas, it is a pure shame what 60% of the people here support. We have a concentrated population who is known for car culture, and they are closing every single store even the hot ones?

They closed 1 of 2 in my town. I capitalized and got full set of pads and rotors for the ram and nissan Altima on clearance. Paid 62 bucks total

Royal Purple Direct has no stock of filters I use, 20-820 and 20-500. Their 30-1218 is in stock, but priced through the roof.
I have been playing online (and reading here) and so Purolator Boss crosses to:
20-820 - PBL24651 (thanks to all here for this)
20-500 - PBL22500
30-1218 - I don't think Purolator makes an application?? Also crosses to AC PF35 and K&N HP3002

Sorry to drift off there. Anyway, will be dropping in to TSC stores to grab any they may have in BOSS filters. Seems everything is getting cut..???

When the new cummins was released last year dealerships didnt even have any oil filters or fuel filters! Lol

Called up parent company of Purolator (wanted to cross ref some oil filter #'s) and asked about current future of the filters. They are making Boss filters with no plans of stoppimg production. So that is nice to hear at the moment with the state of filter choices.

... funny thing. I remember posting in the oil filter thread that I had used the Purolator Boss PBL 24651 on my previous HEMI engines and that members stated they "won't use them because they are glorified rock catchers" ... low and behold, they are all of the sudden the "go to filter".

I've opened up an new Purolator Boss PBL 24651 along with a new Royal Purple 20-820 oil filters and posted for a visual comparison, not so long ago, over on the oil filter thread and gave my humble opinion of the similarity in comparison of quality and same materials ... good grief, lol.
Fwiw, the FRAM FE 7317 SYNTHETIC Endurance for my rubber band powered 2025 Nissan truck isn't available anymore at Wal mart where I reside, so I'll be taking a looking at the Purolator Boss equalivant for replacement.
