These are bugging me. What should I use to glue them back down? Someone said just take them off. Wouldn't it be ugly underneath?truck-trim.jpg ?

I think if you just smash them down with a lump hammer it will do the job. Only kidding I think the heat does that ,maybe just press them down ,theirs like metal fingers grabbing and holding them tight to the door skin

I tried that. It didn't help. Pressing on it I mean. Not the hammer haha

It is just an adhesive strip holding it on. A heat gun, goof off and rubbing compound and you will never even know they were there.

What year model is that? Is that not.part if the window trim/seal? Pulling it off won't affect the window seal?

The one on my passenger door is starting to look like that. That's the side with the sun on it all day long.

It would be extremely ugly with those pulled off. Guess I'll try the 3M tape I have and see how it goes

Buy new ones. They are called window belt moulding.

A set of 4 are $180 from a dealer on eBay.

Mine are doing too (on my 2016) I'm ordering a replacement set soon!
I just need to decide if I want to order the original oem rubber ones, or the oem stainless steel ones off of a Laramie Limited...
Hmmmmmm!?!?!

As luck would have it, my truck is still under warranty. I just stopped at my local Ram dealer over my lunch break...now the service advisor needs to submit the photos he took to FCA and he said he will let me know... I am pretty sure they will cover them though!

I have a 18 Ram 3500 Crew cab and both of my front doors are affected when in the sun. Live with it. Chrysler won't do anything for you.
