Run slower with a tune???

Ok so i got my Diablo Intune yesterday. I loaded the 87 octane tune in and and and adjusted the parameters to.

Throttle booster- 20%
Mds- Off
1-2 upshift- 5800
2-3 upshift- 5800

I have a buddy of my with a vortex max four door. When my truck was stock it use to out run him about a truck link. Today we ran from a dig and he put a half a truck on me. I jumped him every time i shifted other than that SLOWWWW. Something i set wrong or didnt set?

according to their site, 87 tune really isn't much of a real power boost. I run the 93 tune with tweaks and its a beast compared to stock tune.

There is not 93 octane tune on mine. All it has is Diablo tune, 87 tune, 91 tune and mileage booster.

The 91 tune will make much bigger increase. You won't notice much with that 87 tune. I'd also go ahead and up the shift points to 6K and change the throttle sensitivity to at least 14 or 15. You will notice those changes make a noticeable difference.

Get a tune from Hemifever. I heard the Diablo canned tunes aren't as good as Bully Dog's.

Diablo tune is the 93 tune .

I did that last night . I loaded the 91 octane tune in. Changed the shift points to 6000k and rev limit to 200. So just the plain Diablo tune it the 93 octane tune?
