I am taking delivery of an '18 5500 Crew Cab (84" CA) with a Knapheide platform body tomorrow. Planning to put a Ranch Hand front bumper on this truck too (which I've done on my previous 2 trucks)...that doesn't appear to pose an issue.
However, Ranch Hand is saying their Running Boards will NOT fit the 5500's...First, has anyone been able to install/modify the Ranch Hand Running Boards to fit on a 4500/5500 chassis? Secondly, does anyone have suggestions on other Running Board (or Nerf Bar) options for this truck chassis?
I like the look of the Ranch Hands (so anything similar in style would be preferred); either a 4 (or 6) step black tubular style. Obviously, they aren't gonna extend all the way towards the rear tires (dually) with an 84" CA truck...
