Running Boards

hello all.

first of many posts for me im sure...

a buddy of mine has an extra pair of running boards for his 2019 ram 1500 crew cab... will they fit on my 2003 crew cab?

Very unlikely , most if you go to buy will tell you only fits certain years and never heard of an 03 going to a 2019 as a swap , not that you couldn't try and make a bracket that would ,but I dont think as a direct swap will work, mine which I bought for an 04 might go to an 08 but then changes as the brackets mount to the body mounts

LOL no...they aren't even the same generation. In fact that's two generations removed.

They will not work as a direct bolt in and wont be plug and play either. 2 generations away

i understand that they have different methods to mounting to the truck, but im more concerned about the length... i can customize the brackets or get brackets for the 03, but i wont be able to line them up with the mounts underneath if the length is off

Then why didn't you ask your buddy to measure them and compare the result to your own truck?
