well i found the problem how can this hole be fixed , anybody seen this before.any body have before pic. looks like there was a small hole there originally
Oh ok, I see now. Possibly something got lodged in there, and the pump broke it through a hole?
Could it be welded? Like a semi-spot weld or some JB weld?
JB weld will fix just about anything. I've used it for my motorcycle tank before, and never had a problem after. Not sure if it would work here, but it could be worth an inquiry.
ohhhh its the timing chain cover, pheww ,,,,thats repairible .thats what i neeeded to hear. I was thinking jb weld a temp fix . next how big a job is the cover.? evrthing comes off
had to go buy puller for HB. put it back together, no problem except I didnt have the Harmonic Balancer reinstal tool. didnt finish I will go rent one today
sucks because I could have finished all up in one day . One problem I had was from moving a/c compressor, was hose blew in my face releasing refrigerant . another part to fix
check this out . I want to know what caused the corrosive problem , which was also in the thermostat channel ,,some type electrolysis or magnetism maybe
