rust issue

Does anybody know some chemicals I can get locally (from a paint shop I guess or auto parts place) to neutraliize rust?
most likely I will have to do some body work to sand out the rust, but I don't want it coming back to haunt me, the truck is white and I read about por that is a black paint, hows that going to work with white color coat? will it make it look wierd when done.

Depends where the rust is located. Besides with Por15 you need to apply a paint over it since it breaks down over time with UV. I think Por15 also makes white color.

I don't think POR is what I want, not enough rust, I'll use a metal prep etching fluid and fiberglass bondo to repair the rust area.

NAPA sells a very good rust converter. I've been using it for years and it always worked.
