Rust on rivets…

Hi everyone,

Anyone come across this on their truck?

2023 now 40080km, one year on the road original owner..

Have what appears to be rust on the rivet heads on the truck box. FWD facing behind the cab where the aerodynamic seal sits. Look between the cab and the box… wondering if this is a known issues on these 4th gens and if there is a SB or warranty etc??

90% sure that is just a spot weld and not a rivet. Regardless, is it just the one or a bunch of them.

Ah yes, you are right slot welds… I am an aircraft mechanic by trade and programmed
