500 results (threads) and probably 5000 posts. I could weed my way through 1) finding people posting about S&B specifically, and 2) find people who posted pictures of their S&B. Or, I could simply ask, in the S&B specific thread, if someone wouldn't mind sharing a picture. I'm not sure what I did wrong here, but I will be sure not to ask for sample pictures in the future since it appears to not be proper forum etiquette. Thank you Keg184 and Etroze86 for sharing pictures of your toys :waytogo:

Dude, don't worry about one person telling you to go find stuff yourself. No matter what you say/do, you'll get at least one person that gets upset by it, no matter what forum you're on. Ask away... it's why we're here. I don't have any pictures for you, because I'm in the same boat... not sure if I want to spend the money on an S&B, or go 1/2 price and get a Spectre intake kit, or go with the DIY method and just add some cooler air to the system. Or, a combination of the DIY and and aftermarket... like the pics above.

Everybody is going to have their opinions, and that's all they are... opinions. I have yet to see comparable numbers and side by side testing to show one is better than the other. Most of what I've seen is "I dyno'd my truck after the install and it was much better than stock" type of thing. I want to see someone or some shop do a dyno for stock, S&B, Vararam, Spectre, etc, etc. and put all of the numbers side by side for everyone to see and use to make their own decision. Anyway... I got on a rant. Sorry.

I was just being grumpy because I knew we'd been over it about 500 times.

You didn't do anything 'wrong'. I just need to ignore CAI threads--too much rehash.

Couldn't justify buying it to myself on mileage so really haven't been tracking it at all. Plus I drive all of a mile to work when I do drive my Ram.
