My inlet air temperature is exactly the same after I installed an AEM water/methanol injection kit. The nozzle size I am using is the 500cc nozzle, I really need a 750cc nozzle based off AEM's chart. I installed the nozzle about 16 inches upstream of the IAT sensor. With a max boost of 8 psi on WOT for 12 seconds I see around 133 max inlet air temps. I just find it strange that the temperature remains the same after the methanol injection install (51/49 blend).
Anyone else ever run across this issue?

I don't know I just bought a **** kit. I'm also on e85 though so my situation will be different. The goal is 20psi with a forged 392.

Is the installation of the nozzle really 16" from the TB or is that a typo? I usually see 3-6" from the TB as a guide but not 16. Obviously make sure the nozzle is spraying in the correct direction. Also did you test the system to make sure its operating properly?

I have Alky systems on my vette and Audi but for the IATs I have a cry02 intercooler chiller that uses nitrous and a tank since it’s what my shop has available. The ram is getting **** as soon as possible, btw I only use boost juice on the Audi since I still use the washer tank.

Yeah it is around 16 inch or so from IAT sensor. I pulled nozzle and hit the test button on controller and it is definitely working. Not sure why the temp remains unchanged though.

Either increase the nozzle CC size and or move it closer to the IAT if your goal is to get the PCM to advance the ignition timing.

I don’t believe you need to see lower intake air temps to justify the saturation of methanol injection

the combustion process is what benefits from the mixture and exhaust temperatures would instead decrease

an O2 meter would give relevant information for tuning as would an EGT sensor
