I have a 2014 RAM 1500 which I absolutely love, except for the fact that the satellite radio reception absolutely SUCKS! There are so many drop-outs that it almost makes listening impossible. Even on the open road with no obstructions it still happens.

I have an 8.4 Non-Nav radio. Is there any way to diagnose if this is a radio or antenna problem? Is there any real fix for either? I have checked the antenna connection a couple of times and it is solid.

Sure would appreciate any advice!

Common issue. I've replaced the antenna and even added a second one with the same results.

My satellite kicks out constantly here in my town
If i am on the highway miles from town, it does not cut out unless there are mountains or dense trees, tunnels, etc.

Here in my town, ever since T-Mobile began using 3g, i began having issues.
When they upgraded to 4G, it was worse
Now T-Mobile has 5G & the towers are real close together
Every time i am coming up on a T-Mobile tower, the Satellite radio cuts out completely until i am out of range of that particular tower, then within 1/2 mile, there is another tower

The T-Mobile phone frequency is very close to the Sirius radio frequency & T-Mobile over powers Sirius XM

I have called Sirius about it & they claim that they have no knowledge about it

Sirius does not answer the phone when you call, they Outsource all calls

You have to ask for someone in the New York Office
You never know if you are speaking to someone in New York

Here is the Dispute that Sirius Subscription Sales claims to not know about
