I have a 2024 Ram 1500 Built to Serve that is still under warranty. The problem I have is the bolster on the driver side seat leather is cracked. There is no puncture, cut or scrapes that would cause this failure. The material looks like it is just peeling away from the substrate basically delaminating. I have taken it to the dealer and they have said it is a wear issue and it will not be covered under warranty. Has anyone else had this issue?

It's not actually leather. It's vinyl. Strange that it's already cracked though. Have you taken it in to have it assessed? You should still be under warranty.

Yes, I took it to the dealer that I bought it from and as soon as I told the service advisor of the issue he said it wont be covered. I said can you please submit anyways and he agreed. Within less than 24 hours he called and said it was declined. I had asked for a copy of the claim and I don't think written properly. The dealer is very stubborn and not very customer oriented. Very disappointing second guessing the Ram brand and the service.

Something doesn’t make sense here. I don’t see how that could be from wear. Maybe @RamCares can help out with this. You might also consider taking it to another dealership.
