Seats lumpy

My 13 Longhorn seats are getting uncomfortable. They have lost their cushioning and are lumpy/bumpy to sit on.
They work great as far as electric, heat, air.
If I replace the cover part will they be comfortable again or do I have to replace the entire seat?

Others have replaced the cushions and been happy.

A seat cover may have a tiny bit of padding but does not do much for comfort !
I use COVERKING covers !
If you have a Upholster shop near you they can rebuild the seat to your specs !
I had one redo my motorcycle seat !
BUT not cheap !
I picked up a Gel pad for my seat when I travel and that helped a lot !
BUT not sure on how much it would effect the heated seat !
My RAM seat are not heated

Are there cushions under the leather? I'm afraid if I take off the covers to look I'll never get them back on

You may get lucky with a complete seat from a Local Pick and pull yard !
Or check with a Auto upholster shop if your lucky enough to have one near by !
He may be able to reuse the seat material and just re foam the seat and save you a buck or two!
PLEASE UPDATE what you do do as it may help someone else !
FYI I am thinking of getting my seat re foamed as well lol

The driver's seat in my 2014 is not lumpy but I think I've worn the springiness out of the foam over the 11 years and 114,000 miles.

I wouldn't say it's uncomfortable yet, but the passenger in my truck enjoys a noticeably more luxurious ride.

Geno’s garage has new cushions and covers available.
Look to you tube for some help with the process of changing it out.
Amazon also shows cushions and covers, I’m sure many others also.
Prices seem to vary , so no telling quality unless it’s mopar.

Just found this (cushion only) on sale for $125.10 at Geno's Garage, driver's side...

SEAT CUSHION - DRIVER SIDE - LEATHER & VENTILATED ('10-'18, 2500/3500 & '09-'18, 1500)

BUT - they are on backorder until 02/28/2026

They also have genuine Mopar for 3 times the price but probably in stock. I think I might be calling around to some junkyards nearby.
