Well, I finally got around to doing the calipers on this truck (my other truck was totaled back in November). I liked the anodized paint much better than the regular that I used on the first truck, and I did the exhaust tips as well. Thoughts? Overcast today, so I'll try to take some brighter pics when we get sun again.

good job, and i like how it looks. i like the looks on the brakes, not the tips. for some reason the colour on the tips doesn't work for me. but the paint itself looks great!

It'll be interesting to see how well they hold after 6mo to a year, I applaud your effort, but I've never had any success with the ceramic paints holding up on calipers no matter the prep done. Post another picture, close up, in 3 then 6 months. Someone was trying a 2 part epoxy caliper paint and it'd be interesting to see how that holds up? Good job.

I had done a regular blue paint on my previous truck (totaled end of November). They were painted at least 3 months at that point with no issues. I'll try to remember to post updates.

Ceramic paint on my motorcycle calipers helf up for 4 years and still looked new they day I got rid of it. Granted those I popped off sprayed clean had no rust then baked at a low temp for 2 hours each in an oven. Didnt do the same on the truck but have had decent luck his far. Cant say the same for the rotors but was worth a shot
