I pulled up beside a car hauler with a load of brand new Dodge trucks on board.

One caught my eye,and has me really curious.

It was a bright red quad cab, with R/T badges all over it.

But what really surprised me was what was wrote on the sport hood.

It had 392 Hemi on the hood.

Does anybody know if the 2014's are gonna get the 6.4.

This truck was definitely brand new with all the chalk writing still on the windows.

I didn't think such a truck existed,and if i hadn't seen it with my own eyes,i'd of said B.S

Damn. I've definitely never seen anything like that. And about a month ago I was spending most of my time at Dodge dealerships. I'm going to hate myself if I missed out on getting a Hemi with a 6.4L :emotions122:

most likely if it exists (or they intend to build it) it will only be for the RT trucks, which only come in RCSB. (no back seat action for you and your peeps chuck! lol...)

It's possible they're going off the urban ram concept.

Hahah damnit! Oh well, I'd be willing to sacrifice that for that big of an engine. :biggun:

Oh, man! The Sport w/3.92 is nice but R/T with 4.10 or even 4.30 and a 6.4 with 4x4 would TOW like a mother! LOL:roflbow:

Hahah true. It depends on how I'm feeling on a given day.

I would kill for an engine that big in my crew cab. I guess we can always dream.

It was on a car hauler heading north on the QE2,i passed it just north of the scales Audio.
The R/T badges were what caught my eye,as i thought R/T's were only shortbox regular cab trucks, but this one was a quad cab,and when i seen 392 on the hood,i just about crashed my company vehicle trying to get a closer look, lol

Like i said,i didn't think a truck like it existed.

Then i started wondering if it was an early 2014 model.
Pretty truck that's for sure

Just curious, was it on a truck with other Dodge's? If it was on a truck with other random vehicles, it could be a SEMA build.

Curious about that too, but he said it was a truck with a load of RAM's onboard. I'll tell ya what, if a RAM SRT-8 was produced I'm pretty sure I would demod my 2012 and try and get one. That would be a great platform to start a performance build. Just sayin....:rockit:

I just read his post again - I did miss that part. It could still be a SEMA build, but that is very promising.

I'd have probably flagged the truck driver down for a closer look!

I really don't ever plan on buying another 1/2 ton with IFS....but if they made a 6.4L available with 4x4 I'd reconsider. In fact, I'd probably jump on that!

For what dodge will charge for the 6.4 in it is ever released in the trucks you could just put in your own 392 stroker, just saying for the PCM's that can currently be CMR tuned.

Wished i could add more guys, but it was on the freeway at 75mph when i seen the truck.
I crossed 2 lanes of traffic to get beside the car hauler, but getting him to stop i never tried, road was a bit busy for that.
The only other thing i could come up with was it a aftermarket tuner built truck.
About all i can say is the rest of the load on the car hauler were all new Ram pick-ups

Were lucky we still have some SRT vehicles. With the CAFA standards from Obama, it would be hard for Dodge to meet them with another gas guzzler. Just wouldn't be cost effect either,
