The Electronic Power Steering rack went out on my 2017 Ram recently. I had it replaced at a local shop who used a part number supplied to him by a local Ram dealer. He installed the rack however was unable to get the new rack programmed. I took it to a Ram dealership and they said the rack installed is for a Ram that has the “off-road” package and thus could not be programmed for my truck. The truck steers perfectly with the new rack and the rack looks identical to the one that came off. I now get a “service power steering” message every time I start the truck. Can this message be deleted with AlfaOBD?
