Can someone with a 1500 BH or similar post a pic of their shark fin antenna on the roof of their truck. I f%&ked up last night and went through a parking garage that had 2 or 3 really low spots that caught the top edge of my fin.

I had never inspected it beforehand so I do not know if there is a gap between the fin and the roof. The gap is only on the front half of the fin. The back half of the fin sits nearly flush.

If this is normal, then Im not going to worry about getting a scratched shark fin antenna fixed. If its not then, well, crap...

If it's got a gap you may end up with a leak that will soak your headliner.

If it has a gap, that means it's bent, replace it or have a leak.

Here’s what mine looks like. It appears the weather seal underneath is still making contact with the roof and fortunately or unfortunately it has been raining and so far my headliner isn’t showing any wet spots. There was another 5th gen parked near me today and their antenna also has a slight rake to it but I feel like mine has more of a rake. I have no idea what it looked like prior to this incident.
I can’t quite envision how striking the ceiling would have lifted it up. Maybe it shifted it to the rear? Or it’s in my head.

By chance, did you inspect the antenna for any marks where it could have made contact with a low ceiling ? I would think it order to shift it, it would leave some kind of marks on it.

Oh yes there is definitely a mark on the antenna from about 1/2” down the front of the antenna all the way back. You can just barely make them out in the pics due to the angle and the rain.
