We bought a 2010 Dodge Ram 2500 5.7 Hemi last month. When I test drove the truck it drove perfect, shifted through the gears. I went back that weekend to transfer title and bring truck home (used a trailer because he was just me and my son).
Unloaded truck at home, went to drive it up our road and it shifted from 1st to 4th gear. Or sometimes it goes right from drive to 4th. Assuming it’s going into a safe mode.
When I scanned it code P0765 for shift solenoid UD. So I replaced the shift solenoid and valve body. Replaced speed sensor. Sent ECM out to be tested and no issues were found with that.
Maybe a wiring issue?! Any other suggestions?! This truck is for my son and we are really frustrated.
