Shocks/struts

I need to replace the shocks on my 2006 dodge ram 1500 slt, but don't now what to purchase... i was hoping to find a product that would raise my truck a little but not to much that it'll cause all sorts of other problems... does anyone have any suggestions on what a good quality shock/strut might be that matches my description
