hi I'm new to this forum, I don't know much about diesels that's why I'm asking my neighbors have a 1999 Dodge standard cab 2500 Cummins diesel with 35,000 miles on it they want 6500 or is it worth it. It looks pretty new as a camper shell on the paints a little faded on the camper shell and has a fogged up headlight on it but otherwise it looks brand new

Recently I've been looking at early diesels and from what I have found that is an excellent price. Are there any outstanding issues with the truck? What's the mileage?

The truck isn't even broke in with that mileage. I would jump on it. Where are you located? I think it would be great fun to cut the frame and put a short bed on it. It would make a sweet street sleeper. Go for it. And that's advice from someone older than you.... lol

I'm pretty sure it would be a good investment. Before deciding look it up using KBB. That should seal the deal.

Haha I do the same thing. I was shopping with my daughter and she started scanning bar codes and giving me more information than I could use.

As nice as that truck looks the street value may be several thousands above KBB. The mileage is incredibly low for a 2g diesel.
