Side Molding Paint

Has anyone painted the chrome pieces on the doors? I'm in the process of deciding whether or not to paint all my chrome black. On the other hand, I did plastidip some of it and don't like the results. Kind of at an impasse now.

I would remove them and purchase a set of painted body moldings. I purchased a set for my sport and the color match is perfect, and they look great. I purchased mine from a place called body side moldings. They come painted with the double stick tape already on them, so they are Peal and Play. I had to give them my paint code when I ordered them.
