I have a 2014 1500 sport with the touch screen stereo. I was wondering how to take the silver trim pieces off the door around the center console and around the screen so I can get them dipped.

Have you tried looking for screws and then pulling it straight out? I haven't taken my dash apart yet but I'm sure someone with experience will chime in soon. Check youtube for the subject. I don't think the trucks are built too differetly from year to year.

Yeah I looked for screws. My dad owns a body shop and said he would probably have to take the console out and the door panel out but I was wondering if there was an easier way

The door panels pieces are plastic riveted on.
You'll have to grind off the plastic rivet weld, do whatever, and then epoxy them back in.

The dash piece (stereo surround):
remove the rubber piece below the RAM in the little cubby at the top of the dash.
remove 2 Torx screws. Rest pulls off.

I don't know if this is the same for the trucks with a console, I have a 3 wide seat.
