Hi Guys,
I have a trx4 with the single side exhaust and I'm wanting to replace the muffler with the 18" magnaflow. My question is, would it be better and cheaper to go the mufflex route or just order the magnaflow and have a local shop weld it in place? Also, if I go with the magnaflow what is the inlet and outlet sizes for the single exhaust?

Thanks

I'd go with the Magnaflow and turn it over to a shop.

3" center inlet, two 2.5" outlets. Magnaflow 12278 should do the trick:

Magnaflow 12278

i think it will be cheaper to go the a shop and have them weld a magnaflow in. the mufflex kit is good if you want to easily be able to go back to stock

Ok, so if I go with the magnaflow is it the 3" in and 3" out for the single exhaust? Does anyone know the part number I would need off the top of their head?

Thanks

Its 3inch in/out sorry don't know what part number. You may want to call some shop they may be able to get a better deal. I can get a magnaflow or flowmaster install for 50 to 75.
