The last couple of weeks i've noticed that every time I start my truck Sirius defaults to the Preview Channel #1 instead of the last channel I listened too. Has anyone else had this issue? Just hoping it's a holiday marketing ploy, but I think it's something else.
I had a similar issue with my Porsche in the past, and that turned out to be a bad battery. Apparently low battery power causes all kinds of electronic gremlins with Porsches, and I suspect the same root cause with the Ram.
I drive my truck almost daily, but less than 15 miles at a shot. Due to that I'm wondering if the battery just isn't getting enough charge to recover from the drain of starting the truck. Which in turn is just decreased enough to lose information not stored in settings.
My other thought is Bluetooth, since my phone is typically in my office about 10' from the truck through a wall. Does the truck's Bluetooth maintain a connection after the truck is turned off and locked?
I do not have the factory airbags, which I've read can drain a battery as they inflate and deflate even when the truck is parked and off.
Thanks,
Mike
