So I’ve noticed a small amount of oil on the driveway, passenger side of the truck. Crawling underneath it is wet on the back side of the block, but can’t really see any “running/ dripping” oil.

** sorry for **** pictures **

I can’t see anything from up top, other than the A/C dripping. I’ll try to get up in there with my inspection camera and hopefully be able to see something.

Has anyone else come across a slight leak in this area? Also, any chance it is a oily residue from the A/C?

Thanks in advance! Mike

To really trace down your leak you might have to get some degreaser and clean the old oil off to find it.The funny thing about one drop of oil is air moving under the truck makes it spread be very careful about your coil packs.

So far it's just the bottom of the motor. It does suck that it's so minuet tracking it down will be a tad fun. Lol

If you pressure wash the undercarriage and drive down a dusty road you'll find the source pretty easily. Check all fluid levels and see if anything is low. Hard to from the pictures axle seals are pretty common and could spray the area and drip on 1 side.

It could be a few things bud, check your pinion seals, rear main, valve covers and axel seals.

As said^ clean the area and keep an eye on it. Gl.

Didn’t see anything suspicious above the oil pan on either side of the engine. Did find a slight leak on the front diff. Snugged up the bolts a bit, and cleaned everything up. Now I’ll keep an eye on it and see what happens.
