Slow to drive and reverse

I have a 2018 ram 1500. Have any of you noticed that when going from park to drive or drive to reverse vice versa that it shifts slow like takes 2 seconds to go to reverse or drive. It's kind of annoying when you want to make a quick u turn and it takes so long to change from drive from reverse. Any input appreciated

I assume you have the 8 speed transmission.

Is this slow shifting a problem when the transmission is warm?

Have you checked the fluid level lately?

Yes 8 speed and it's not a problem really shifts perfect it's just it takes a little longer to shift between drive and reverse from the other 8 speed rams i have drove
