SLT 8 Badge

Thinking of putting a "custom" badge on the tailgate. Would be the same design as SRT 8 but the R will be replaced with a L.

I have seen 3rd gens put SRT 8 and R/T badges on their Rams and its their choice but i don't want to put on a badge that states something that really is not.

I have always like the look of the SRT 8 badge design, so maybe the SLT 8 is custom enough to not step on any SRT or R/T toes and provide an idea that the truck is a custom v8 w/ SLT trim.

I guess the Q is do you think this would be a good idea to do?

It will go in the same place as the oem SLT badge was.

There is a tad to much white between the silver and the rally stripes. Looks like there are three of them instead of two. Make the orange go all the way up to the silver and it be perfect

I sent it to Billet Badges when i put in my online order form. They are going to research and get back to me if they can move forward without trademark issues.
I am sure once they start rendering it than it will look 100% better.

SLT shouldn't be a problem since it is/was used by several truck makers. The stripes might be a hangup though.

Checking the dimensions of the SRT-10 emblem (5030379AA) it seems to be 10" in length x 1.5" W.

Does that seem about right?
