i have a 03 hemi ram that is sitting in my driveway for the winter and i noticed a very small spot on my driveway that is coolant coming from the side of my radiator. Its the original radiator from 2003 and im not driving it this winter so i was wondering if its ok to just leave it until spring since im not driving it?
I tested the coolant temperature and its good until -15 or a little more. it only happens when its been -10 for a couple days. I dont see a problem with the slow small leak as long as i dont drive it unless theres something i dont know?
I would keep it topped off if not being full could do damage by the level not being to the top...should i keep it filled or can i wait until spring to fix it?

Keep it filled, but really not absolutely necessary, so long as you've got protection against freezing. Best bet is to simply pressure test it at some point and see what's actually leaking.

Sounds like it contracted enough from the cold to cause a leak that wasn't there before during normal (somewhat, even for ND) temps....is it coming from the rad itself or possibly a hose?

Im going to have to look closer again today. Its been really cold with 20 to 30 mph constant wind the last 3 days. Finally decent today so hoping i can see where the leak is but its not as cold so hopefully it leaks still I guess lol? Hoping it leaks so i can see where it leaks but hoping it stops too lol?

Only one real option here - pressure test it................ :smoke2:

I think it's coming from the hose where someone put a worm gear clamp on before me. Its the pass side lower hose. Might try to get the correct clamp style instead

Those clamps are normally quite sufficient. As stated above, snug it up a bit, if needed. But it sounds like you're just guessing about the leak location, which is why I would again suggest good pressure test...... :smoke2:
