Just installed one of these....it's a serious chunk of iron. It fits a bit loose in the 2" adaptor sleeve, but looks cool and is fully functional. I haven't heard any rattle with normal driving either. It sits about 5-6" lower than the bumper step and will provide serious protection if somebody rear ends you (unless its a sports car). There are also 2 hole positions and it can be flipped over to gain/loose height. You can also use the step as a tow point by weaving a tow strap through the steps openings.
Was gonna buy a WeatherTech bump step, but found this and its built like a tank for less than $10 more. It is a smooth surface so I plan to put grip tape on it just for added slip resistance. I recommend it.
