i didnt even know it was still on thanks to our restrictions here in pa.

It was on but smaller because of the virus. One guy was telling me that all the shows are smaller this year. Trucks had maybe 1/3 of the normal amount of vendors.

we hit a local show, have 3 more local ones coming up. ones really late in the season which is going to be iffy to make it being weather dependant.

All that custom work under the suspension and they coated the recalled, non-repaired drag link instead of upgrading and replacing it with a Synergy or 19+ Mopar drag link? Curious...

i had no recall on the drag link. i also just had the truck at the dealer to turn on my fog lights as you can see, it didnt come factory w fog lights. that was a question i asked when they plugged it in if there was any recalls. all of my recalls were complete. can you give me more info?

That style drag link was recalled for the jamb nuts coming loose. I don’t see any welds on them (the “band-aid fix”), but I SUPPOSE all 4 welds could be out of the frame. Google ram drag link recall, it’ll tell you everything you need to know. I’m just surprised they did all that work to a sub-standard part instead of replacing it with the right part for $130.

i agree, in the shops defense, they are a fab shop and not a mopar dealer but i have never recieved a recall for it, maybe mine wasnt part of the recall i really dont know. i woulda thought the dealer woulda seen it on their program when they plugged it in but i personally saw there was no open recalls. i will google it for sure but for the money i spent, $130 woulda been a drop in the bucket. thanks for the info. ill follow up. im going to call the dealer to verify also

as a matter of fact, i was a truck driver so chicken lights is a common term to me and i can tell you something, you can take the driver out of the truck, but you cant take the truck out of the driver!!!

After 22 years and counting driving for a living, every time a lit up shiny truck goes by I still love it.

Honestly the only thing I would do is swap the chrome window deflectors for black or maybe even painted body color.
