I have a 2010 Dodge Ram Laramie 1500. I am having a very weird problem with my truck. It all started when I observed on the display screen that truck was receiving a software update a few months ago. It surprised me because I have never seen this before (purchased in 2015). When this occurred, radio stopped working. Shortly afterwards, that screen went totally blank. I didn’t think much about it until a few days later, my truck would not start. After I boosted it, I took truck to where I purchased battery. They checked it out and stated battery and alternator were fine. Radio was also working again. A couple of weeks later, the same sequence happened (software update screen appeared, radio stopped working, a few days afterwards truck would not start). The second time this happened, I took truck to Dodge dealer after boosting it. They did not find anything wrong, and recommended I replace the battery, which I did a couple of weeks ago. They also stated radio may need replacing. Truck had been working fine since I replaced battery (no radio though). Today, my truck will not start again. Do you know what could be causing this?
