How's the install on these? I've never done any exhaust work, just loosen the clamps and slide it right out? Or does it require a lot of wrestling?

Nick@GotExhaust hooked me up with a muffler delete from SOLO.

All I have to say is this thing sounds AWSOME!

I had a Mufflex with the magna flow muffler and I just was not happy. The solo muffler delete is absolutely the best choice.

I also cut my resonator off [emoji38]

Best thing you can do s a few days before the install, saturate all the bolts on the clamps, joints on the exhaust and the hangers with penetrating oil.

The install is not hard. You will do a little wrestling to get it on but it is not bad at all.

If you can use a wrench and can put a round peg in a round hole you can do this install.

Simple install that can be done with basic hand tools in your driveway. As mentioned it is a good idea to spray the bolts and slip joints with penetrating oil. I like to also spray the rubber hangers with soapy water. It involves a little bit of wrestling just to slide it apart but nothing crazy.

As a follow up to my question - my exhaust may be a one off... but this wasn't doable. Getting the slip joins loose was no big deal, a little WD-40 and it was fine after looseneing the 15mm clamps.

The issue came trying to get the muffler out, with all clamps loose, I still couldn't get it out without pulling the tailpipe so I eneded up taking it to a shop for the install.

One of the hangers is in a very narrow spot, I had to fight it like crazy to get that one loose (using the channel lock method).
