Some small questions

Hey, I have a 2014 ram 1500 sport. I absolutely love the truck but it just has some things I want to change and was hoping someone had some info that might help me (I tried searching the forums first).

First off it came with the tow package but no tow brake controller. How do I install this and I mean the one spot by the heated seats? I did install one in my last truck (2004 titan) but that was a basic truck in comparison.

Second would be the seats, I was wondering if anyone has installed cooled seats after purchasing the truck. I have the leather and cloth center seats with heated portion. Also curious about installing lumbar support for passenger seat as well.

Third is about the fake air intakes on the front of the truck, some research has shown that people upgrade this but I am curious if anyone has done it and any advice.

Fourth is the stupid ghosting driver map light, This one is just annoying.

The brake controller can be bought online and installed. Pretty sure it needs the sales code added from the dealer though. You can upgrade the air intakes but from what I hear, it’s makes the engine compartment really dirty, could be wrong though. And I’m sure you can remove the light over the console, or get a small piece of electrical tape and stick it over the led.

Depending on the year truck you can absolutely add cooled seats. There are dozens of us that have and for some of us it was really easy. Even if it’s not a direct plug and play M2 is a vendor here can make you a plug and play harness to add them.

I have a 2014 Express and just added the OEM brake controller. I bought it off of Amazon, installed it myself, and then had the dealer flash it (which is mandatory). Install wasn't too bad, hope you have small hands. There are a lot of youtube videos out there to make it easy. One I watched, the guy didn't install one screw in the bracket and wrapped a corner in electrical tape to avoid a vibration and I did the same thing...

Thanks for your help, so i solved the brake controller now. Still trying to solve the air intakes and the cooled seats. Anyone have a link for that?

So much for that, cooled seats are easy. Coincidentally most of the part centers for the seats are up there. Look up the cooled/heated seats thread its simple.
