Hi all,
I'm hoping someone with experience or knowledge about heated and cooled seats can help me out. I have a full set of Katzkin leather seats with the heated and cooled modules. I absolutely love them and basically got the entire interior for free!
My truck originally came with heated seats and a heated steering wheel. I sold the old seats but kept the wiring harness and control modules. My goal now is to control the aftermarket heated and cooled seats using the stock controls. To do this, I plan to use relays or possibly a Raspberry Pi to interpret the signals from the truck’s system and control the seats.
What I’m looking for are resistance readings for the heating pads, fans, and thermistors in the seats. info on readings on voltage outpur or PWM from the modulke would be nice to If anyone has this info or is willing to help out, it would be greatly appreciated. I need to trick the truck into thinking the original components are still connected so the system engages properly. This can hopefully be done by using a dummy load.
Any advice, help, or tips would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
