Just got home with my new Ram. I ran 33's on my '05 and always wanted bigger but couldn't afford it until I had too many miles to justify the investment. I don't really NEED 37's but I think I like the look better, just looking for some feedback from you guys with a little more experience than I've got. Do I go 4" and 35, 6" and 35 or 6" and 37? Am I looking at problems down the road (no pun intended) with that 2 extra inches?

If you want 37s you probably wont be happy with anything else. I've been learning when I try to be responsible and settle on something in a feeble attempt at acting my age and being responsible. It ends up with me replacing it and spending the double money when I should have went with what I wanted to begin with.

Keep in mind how labor intensive it is to get 4.56's or etc in the 2012+ trucks. A front axle swap will need to be done. For this reason I'm sticking to 35s or a supercharger after my rzr is paid off.

I am very happy with my 35 toyo MT's and my truck is still a quick truck (quick as in I can keep up with traffic really well, not outrun Ta's like I used to in my diesel lol) I intend on adding 6" RCX to my current 3" body and removing my level. Fastnugly sent me some pics when he was running that set up and I love the tire to fender well area.

Either way congrats on the new truck!

Yep, over the years I've seen a lot of guys spend double money by "settling" for something. Best advice is "buy once, cry once". ;)

I was in the same situation As you when having my six inch lift installed. I went back and forth for a week on 35x20 or 37x20. I ended up going with the 37 and love the look. BUT....a 37x20 will not fit up under the truck for a spare. A 35 will. So now I'm stuck with most of my box space being wasted with a stupid spare tire. My tires only have 3500km on them and I'm trying to sell them so I can buy 35s. My buddy has an 8 inch lift with 37 and it looks great so a 6 inch with 35 should look equally as good.

I ran 6" and 35"s on my mega then went to 37"s

Plus side of 37"s they looked cool. But made the HEMI dog down some even with 4:10 gears.

I like them both

Do you have pics of your mega cab both with 35's and 37's?

A 4" and 35s fit in most garages...if that is not an issue go 6" and 37s. No regrets.

Let me tell you a short story about my 09 Big Horn. First a leveled it and got 34s. Then I took out the level and put in a 6" lift and got 35s. Then I put in Bilsteins with the lift and got 37s. Two and half years later and who knows how much money, I thought "why didn't I do this in the first place?" lol

Get some 37s

The bigger the tire the more wear and tear on everything, Tranny, Gears, Suspension parts, and even the engine, plus gas mileage goes down, comfort goes down, noise goes up, can end up needing constant alignments. But hey if you want the big ones go for it, I've learned my lesson and I will always stay 35 or less. One big thing to do is talk to the tire guy about tread pattern, all bigger tires are not created equal. Some with aqua tread type pattern like the Toyo's high end will actually give you a friendly ride plus look cool.

Do you regret your toyo mt 33? I also have a 2 inch level, but I am adding 1.25 body lift. Then I wanna purchase 20x10 xd rims with either 33 or 35 toyo mt tires. Problem is I tow so I don't wanna kill my truck. So I'm not sure which way to go. Can you offer any help.
